Sen. Moreno Committed to Preventing Future Sen. Morenos

U.S. Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-CarMax) is always laser-focused on the issues most important to Ohioans. His latest gambit is a bill to ban dual citizenship. And I must say, I can't throw a stick in my neighborhood without hitting someone complaining about the scourge of dual citizenship.

High prices? Nope.

Air traffic control towers with no air traffic controllers in them? Nope.

Blowing up people in boats? Nope.

Political corruption on a scale that was heretofore unimaginable? Nope.

President Trump repeatedly falling asleep in public after talking about all of his MRIs? Nope.

Banning vaccines and Tylenol? Nope.

No, what literally everyone I know is talking about is how all of these dual citizens are ruining everything. And by "literally everyone I know", I mean, no one. No one at all, other than Bernie Moreno. It is interesting (also, amazing, tragic, ironic and deeply stupid) that Moreno, a native Colombian, is apparently dedicated to depriving America of future Bernie Morenos.

Would Moreno's dumb law be difficult to administer, seeing as most countries, including America, don't keep great records on dual citizens? Yes. Is it likely to become law? No. Would it be unconstitutional if it did? Sure looks that way.

But the thing is, folks, if you're going to elect an Internet troll/used car salesman to the U.S. Senate, then you really can't expect anything other than government by trolling/sleazing. The good Senator is what he is and will never be anything more, and we all knew that going in. What I'm trying to say is – and I really hate to have to post this video – maybe we're the problem.
